Designs By DJ Florist and Gifts

I placed an order through ftd and Designs by DJ florist put the arrangement together. It was for my uncle's funeral, I am so disappointed it looks nothing like the arrangement I ordered. I will never order from here again. I ordered the Peaceful Reflections arrangement deluxe, with lillies, and roses. The arrangement ended up being a basket of daisies. I wish I could post the picture

Our family has received several bouquets as gifts over the past year and they have always been beautiful. We have been pleased with the delivery drivers, the quality of the blooms and how long they last. When an out of town family member contacts us for a florist rec, Designs by DJ is always the shop that we say.

Designs by DJ is the only florist I use in the Huntington area. Employees are so kind and helpful. The flowers are gorgeous and looked exactly as requested. Highly recommend.

I ordered flowers for my wife from Designs by DJ through Teleflora, and since I was at work, my son and her went to pick them up. The family didn’t have any idea what I ordered, but when I saw a picture of what they brought home, it was after 4pm and too late to call the florist, so I contacted Teleflora. If I would have been there, I would have refused the flowers and canceled my order. I love to support local businesses, but when those businesses try to take advantage of people, they need to be held accountable. I ordered the Teleflora Pretty Daydream Bouquet - Deluxe. I included a picture of what it’s supposed to look like. I totally understand if they don’t have the flowers or vase, they can substitute with equal or better; however, this florist went the opposite direction. The vase was clear, instead of a purple vase as ordered, and had brown stuff floating in the bottom. The amount of flowers and quality were no where near the picture. The flowers were old looking with some browning and the leaves look like they had been eaten by bugs. The stems of the flowers weren’t even trimmed as most professional florists do, so the leaves on the steams are crammed down in the

Delivery was fast. However what we ordered and paid for is not what the recipient received, as shown in the photos. We understand substitutions are sometimes necessary, but I paid over $100 for the arrangement shown on the website and what was delivered is not even close. I've reached out twice through their "Contract Us" with no response. I do not recommend this company and if you do choose to use them, do not order online from 3 hours away. Go in to verify you are getting what you pay for. **Edit: They did reach out after I posted this. Their "contact us" button is broken so they never got either of my messages. They did provide a small refund for the arrangement, the difference between the basic and deluxe versions of what I ordered. Lesson learned, don't order flowers online.
